A dream coming true is an intense emotion. When this dream has been yours for years, been your passion and has grown with you, this emotion multiplies. This is about a dream that has always been first in the list of things I have wanted to do, sometimes which seemed quite impossible. It was the one thing that every now and then gets reordered in that list. Growing up with National Geographic and the love for the mountains, the snow and the sky, I could not help but nurture in my heart, the dream of being able to one day, to see and photograph the Northern Lights. A photograph taken by me at the right moment and having lived that moment to the fullest.
Once the decision was made it didn’t take me more than 10 minutes to book the flight and Voila! There it was! My ticket to realizing my dream!
Backpacking and off, has become my mantra for a couple of years. Essentials in a backpack and off with a smile. Too many times I’ve realized how life is too short and that life is all about affection, feelings and moments, take nothing for granted. The value and power that comes from a “THANK YOU” or a SMILE no money can buy. Tromso- I didn’t even know the existence of this city, but when I did, I knew that I really wanted to go there. A rucksack, not too much, after all it’s only four days till I realize my dream.
